Waitlist and Tours

Our school year starts in September.  The February before is when offers start being made.   This makes October - February a great time for a tour.

Your child should accompany you on the tour.

FAQ

  • What are your fees?
    Our fee structure includes: - annual charges charged every September for some of our enhancement programs - monthly fees - summer field trip fees if attending the summer program Monthly fees are reduced by the Affordability Grant and any Child Care Subsidy that your child is eligible for. Reach out to understand the details of our current fees.
  • Do you have closure days?
    Yes we do. Specifics of our closures will be shared every September. Generally they include: - 2 week winter break - 1 day closure in March / April - 2 day closure at the end of June / early July - 2 day break at the end of August These closure days include breaks for our dedicated team, professional development time and set up time for the summer or new school year.
  • Can we send our child part time?
    MPLC runs a full day program. Children will gain the most from attending on a full time basis - particularly in the kindergarten level programming. MPLC recognises families have different needs. We endeavour to work with you should you like to explore an alternative attendance schedule for your child during the pre-school and junior-kindergarten programming years. If this is something that is important to you please reach out to MPLC and we can discuss what alternative attendance schedules we can support. Fees will not change for alternative attendance schedules.
  • When do I know if I my child has a spot?
    Our first round of offers go out in February and will continue until all spots are full (approx April). Get in early by ensuring your child’s name is on the list before February. If it is after April and you are applying late or new to Edmonton still reach out. We sometimes have last minute changes and have often been able to help out in the past.
  • Is your waitlist first come first on?
    Our waitlist does have a priority system. Siblings and family referrals will always have priority. After that we will offer spots based on appropriate developmental stages for the spaces available.
  • Do you have a waitlist?
    Yes we always have a waitlist and welcome new students every September. Call us now to arrange a tour and get on our waitlist.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
